Trip to Koh Samui by Train

Most people, Thailand and Koh Samui to visit on holiday choose to access this remote island paradise, that is, as is a four hour boat trip to fly from the mainland. While there are no objections, the easiest and fastest way to Koh Samui to achieve, there is another option that many travelers find enjoyable.Every day there are several trains to Hua Lamphong station in Bangkok to go out and do that much time the southern town of Surat Thani. If arriving by train in Thailand is to go slow, and the journey takes approximately 12 hours 800 km, a grueling journey sitting on a vinyl chair. However, there is another option. Every night, a night train out of Bangkok makes overnight.Although same way and has three categories of beds on this train, we are talking about class in this short article. first-class travel by train in Thailand is cheap. Book a bed Private First Class cabin from station to station, Surat Thani Hua Lamphong, for two people costs about 3,000 baht, $ 90, or 60 pounds. For this price you get a private cabin with two beds, a sink, and all the comforts of the room at night, bring food and beverages, including alcohol. The former are much better than the second class swimming and have a western toilet and a shower. We see that the accommodation is very comfortable and the cost is negligible, but if you spend a night on the train when you can fly a little " more money the answer is simple: the trip to Koh Samui .. is an experience in itself is not the sleeping part, but what is the morning after being a keeper of the train with his bed into a comfortable seat can in turn be awakened. Then you can order breakfast and spend the next two hours watching the jungle near the window slides across the last part of southern Thailand from Chumphon to Surat Thani, an attractive environment.
If you leave the train at Surat Thani, the next part of the trip to Koh Samui from Surat Thani begins.Once leave the station to get, you have to go to the port of Donsak, where you can catch the ferry to Koh Samui. There are two options for this part of the trip. Just outside the station, one or more buses, the train waiting for passengers heading to the port of Donsak. These operators coach sold a ticket that includes bus and ferry. Although this is the cheapest option is a fairly long bus ride, and to take a detour and picked up other passengers tend. Perhaps the best way to take a taxi, it is very cheap and is much easier and much quicker. There two ferries, the first is Seatran, and this is just a passenger ferry. The second is the slit and is a combined passenger and ferry. Most people seem to prefer Raja, probably because it is bigger than the ferry, with plenty of room to walk around. This is the most fascinating journey you take a slow two hours and a boat ride through the port in Donsak Koh Samui. On the way he passes the Ang Thong Marine National Park and travels to close many small uninhabited islands. The ride is mostly flat, and refreshments will be on board as we ferry. So served as one of Koh Samui travel by night train from Bangkok and then from the mainland by ferry. A trip much longer than a flight to Koh Samui, but much more interesting.

Things to see in Surat Thani Thailand

Surat Thani
in southern Thailand and has some very interesting things to see and do. Probably the three most popular places in this province is Koh Samui, Koh Pha Ngan and Khao Sok. Koh is a small island, is one of the attractions, with beautiful beaches, nightlife and diving in the island. The beaches are very clean and much better for another neighbor called the famous island of Phuket. Even if Koh Samui is a starting point to become another Phuket too far in development, is a better place than Phuket in most opinions. So I only know of Koh Samui is still worth a visit and see many things and hve a range of activities such as scuba diving, and many snorkleing things.Koh Pha Ngan is a small island that is only a short drive from Koh Samui speedboat, host of the Full Moon Party on the beach is a popular event among tourists and began with a few people drinking at the beach before the full moon for many years and has become the largest party in Thailand. Koh Pha-Ngan is also known for snorkeling and beautiful worderful beaches.Khao Sok is a tourist attraction and has an extraordinary national park and has a evem forest is more diverse than the Amazon rain forest. The Safari is one of the best in the world with both wildlife and nature, Khao Sok not well developed, makes it a tourist attraction as one of the original beauty of Thailand. If you're a bird lover Khao Sok are over 500 bird species and some of the rarest. surrounded by evergreen forests and caves in Khao Sok did an amazing place, really begins to emerge as one of the most popular Thail of tourists who always has in Surat Thani in southern Thailand to offer destinations. If much and is worth a visit. Remains the most visited Phuket in southern Thailand, Surat Thani, but much more has to offer.
