Those who want to experience nature at its best, I was recommended by friends, experience the Khao Sok rainforest one of the best places on earth, nature and rich animal world. It would also go through the jungle of the world that is different Thailand.Khao Sok Trekking a few hours from Phuket and Surat Thani province in the south of Thailand. Khao Sok Resort has some great accommodation and many tree houses. This makes your experience much better, because you, as you moved closer nature.I in the jungle for two days and one night through the rain forest feel, I saw on the first day something really amazing, lots of birds, some rare species and many never seen before. I had a guide who led me through the jungle, it is not a place you go alone if you know the area well. My guide was really good, he was an animal that could not see with the eyes, where I knew that animals were looking at the tracks and movements in the bushes, amazing. We in the woods with a tent and camped felt animals and birds, was a great experience to have sex with animals. The next day we had a little "more than walking and even a little swimming and canoeing on the river Khao Sok I do not think I have so many wild animals that I have found in these two days trekking seen elsewhere seen, world . While a bit tired, it was worth it. Some of the things I've seen, the limestone mountains, incredible birds, plants and much more has been a great experience I will never forget. This is one of those places that you like and repeat. There is amazing and everyone should experience this wonderful place, once in a lifetime.

An Insight Into Vipassana at Suan Mokk

"Suan Mokka" meditation center in the province of Suratthani in Southern Thailand, a unique vision of Buddhist meditation and practice for visitors venturing to a remote Buddhist Center offers a retreat called "Vipassana" is. An ancient traditional technique of Buddhist meditation for 10 days is silence, meditation thought.Arriving Suan Mokka pm (the day before the course is to begin) allows us the opportunity to address some of the skilled and experienced meditators Vipassana students. We are encouraged to ask questions, while we can. Talk tomorrow.Part leaves the Vipassana tradition is that only with the donation. Must be at a later date, will donate a portion of their time to reach the other Vipassana meditators withdrawal as part of the course and engage in some kind of work around the center, washing dishes, sweeping and general cleaning. This type of selfless service is an essential part of Buddhism, and ensures that the experience is well known by everyone. So now is the time we chose our tasks. I decided to go with big, write my name in the first Rostand. As are the norm here seems to be a prerequisite for the night before. So I'm in bed before 21:00, the silence and natural sounds around me. This will be the norm for the next ten nights. It not seem like seven hours later, but it is, and I gently sleep by a ringing of bells in the air right acquired by the morning. This heralds the beginning of my Vipassana experience. For the next ten days I'll wake up four gongs at the sound of the clock, ready to start the day with meditation and Buddhist philosophy. We eat twice a day, served two meals together, healthy, tasty and of course vegetarian. In between periods of meditation, the time has passed, activities, yoga or a hot spring. Because we are still in silence, is a bit "to the ethereal experience hot spring bath with all others and hot water. The higher the vapor of the earth, we avoid the communication of all kinds, even eye contact. So people thoughtfully and silently glide through the mist, water, keep their space and keep your silence.Sometimes is difficult not to speak. Their eyes meet someone else, and before they realize that they have put into a shy smile, and you're wondering, 'Hey, how are you? "drop" ... If you remember the silence. Gaze.Talking And it's like a natural thing for us is someone who says how you feel and ask how they are doing, or even friendly chit chat, it's hard sometimes forget that they were not allowed to speak. In fact, not only to say nothing of the objectives, but we are also committed to our thinking about silence. single thought or mind, has a strong education in Buddhism and something has to be considered. That goal, I believe, is to try to calm the mind or thoughts, but let's see ... but the mind is a difficult thing, and I'm thoughtful that I realized that I'm thinking ... in fact ... is a difficult process and not something that can be reached in ten days, in fact, for some it is an ongoing search, but all part of the noble silence Vipassana experience and one I'm happy to have lived, even if only for a short period.

Trip to Koh Samui by Train part 2

Most people visit Thailand and Koh Samui on holiday choose to access this remote island paradise, situated as it is a boat ride four-hour flight from the mainland. While there is nothing wrong with it, is to achieve the fastest and easiest Koh Samui, which is another interesting option, which many travelers are comfortable.
Every day there are several trains from Hua Lamphong station in Bangkok, and make the city's long southern Surat Thani. Traveling by train in Thailand is slow, and the 800 km trip takes about 12 hours, a grueling journey, sitting on a vinyl chair. However, there is another option. Each night, a night train leaving Bangkok, and makes the same journey during the night.
While there are three categories of people are on this train, we're talking about first class in this short article. Train travel first class in Thailand is not expensive. Book a bed private first class train from Surat Thani to Hua Lamphong, for two people costs about 3,000 baht, $ 90 or 60 pounds. For this price you get a private cabin with two beds, a sink, and room service all night to bring food and beverages, including alcohol. The first class facilities and bathrooms are much better than second class and have a western toilet and a shower.
We can see that the accommodation is very comfortable and the cost is negligible, but why would anyone want to spend a night flight on a train when you can, for a little more money? The answer is simple, the trip to Koh Samui itself is fascinating. It is part of the dream, but what comes next. In the morning, a porter on the train, the beds are raised in a comfortable seat. You can then order breakfast and spend the next two hours watching the forest road through the windows across the last part of southern Thailand in Surat Thani, Chumphon, very beautiful landscapes.
If you get off the train station in Surat Thani, opened the next part of the trip to Koh Samui.
After leaving Surat Thani train station, you must subscribe to Donsak port where the ferry to Koh Samui to take the lead. There are two options for this part of the trip. Just outside the station are one or more buses, the train waiting for passengers heading to the port of Donsak. These carriers are selling a combined ticket that includes both the coach and contains the ferry. Although this is the cheapest option, it is rather a long journey by bus, take a detour and picked up other passengers tend. Perhaps the best solution is to take a taxi which is very cheap and is much cheaper and much faster.
There are two ferry companies, the first is Seatran, and this is just a passenger ferry. The second is the slit and is a combined passenger and ferry. Most people seem to prefer Raja, probably because it is bigger than the ferry, with plenty of room to walk.
This is the most interesting trip you take a slow two hours by boat from the port of Donsak, Koh Samui. On the way he passes the Ang Thong National Marine Park and will travel very close to several uninhabited islands. The trip is almost flat, and a reception on board the ferry.
So we do not like to travel to Koh Samui for the night train from Bangkok and then from the mainland by ferry. A trip much longer than a flight to Koh Samui, but much more interesting.
